When my parents came to visit San Francisco, they wanted to go to Yosemite National Park. Because they couldn’t walk long distances or hike, we had to search for easily accessible viewing points. Naturally, most articles were focused on the great hikes instead of views that you don’t need to hike to. When I saw a good picture, I wasn’t sure if you needed to hike to them or if it’s just a walk from the parking lot. So I created the list by reading lots of reviews and talking to friends. Here is a collection of our favorites with no zoom pictures. I hope this list can save you time during your trip planning.
1: GLACIER POINT
Get a panoramic view without the hike.

A picture is worth a thousand words
2: EL CAPITAN MEADOW
If there were drive-thru viewing spots like take-out restaurants, this would it.
3: TUNNEL VIEW
4: LOWER FALLS
The fall is about a 0.5 mile scenic walk through redwoods. It can get crowded, but I think the view is worth it.
5: OLMSTED POINT
Although it was hazy when we were here, this view point still made the list. It was fun taking pictures of us trying to push the rock up the mountain. Plus, if you Google this point, you can get amazing views on a non-hazy day.
